You left off the SF portion, where Hal Spacejock No Free Lunch sits proudly in the list. WA author, YA/Adult crossover and most importantly I watch your blog ;-)

A thousand apologies, Simon. That will teach me to rush things when I am trying to make up for lost time and a month or more of computer malfunction. Please see addendum. Many grovels!

  3.   Simon Haynes Says:

Hey, no problem! I didn’t expect to see my book in the list at all ;-)

I appreciate you mentioning the Aurealis Awards on the blog too. Sometimes Spec Fic readers and writers feel a bit left out, despite the genre being such a large part of the landscape. Recognition is always nice!

And congratulations, Simon. Why not the YA category (too), I wonder but so good to be included here. Daughters of Moab was reviewed in Fiction Focus as YA too, so the Aurealis criteria would be interesting to follow up. Just musing.
