After Sonya Hartnett’s success this year in this award of awards for children’s literature, it would be too much to hope that another Australian would succeed in 2009.
There is no Aussie on the list of 159 possibles, but there are some pretty impressive names and organisations, including some we should know a little better than perhaps we do.
The announcement of the winner will be made in March next year.
